ECHO

Creative Sound Direction & Sonic Identity

ECHO is a sound direction studio founded by Bart Bell, working at the intersection of sound design, narrative and perception.

The studio develops sonic identities, spatial sound environments and sound-driven experiences for brands, films, installations and cultural projects.

Rather than treating sound as a final layer, ECHO integrates it early in the creative process — as a structural element shaping rhythm, presence, space and meaning.

Approach

ECHO considers sound as a medium that transforms perception.

Each project begins with listening:
to materials, to spaces, to bodies, to contexts.

From this attention emerges a sonic language, one that does not illustrate, but reveals.

Working across artistic research and applied projects, the studio creates sound that is both sensitive and precise, capable of anchoring an experience in time and space.

Practice

ECHO operates across multiple formats:

• Sonic identity and brand sound
• Sound direction and creative collaboration
• Spatial and immersive sound environments
• Sound design and post-production for selected projects

Collaboration

ECHO collaborates with creative agencies, design studios, brands and cultural institutions.

The studio is available for:
• long-term collaborations (1 day per week)
• selected high-end projects
